Orchard Thief is a Minneapolis-based one-man project. Sam makes “music for when you need to take a deep breath” and “music for morning routines and getting home after work.” He also says that the Orchard Thief songs are about growing up and having feelings. Well, so be it. Grab some fine hazy lo-fi jams below. They’ll be featured on the upcoming split release with his roommate Pawlic.
Brooklyn’s lo-fi pop band Beach Fossils did a session for Insound’s new studio session series. The band played four new (!) songs from their upcoming debut album. And they sound promising. The album should be out sometime soon on Captured Tracks and Woodsist.Btw, the Daydream 7″ is out now on Captured Tracks.
