Next week I’m off to visit a friend in The Netherlands and le guess what – there’s a really nice festival going on at the time! Le Guess Who? takes place in Utrecht from November 24 to 27, with the performances spread over eight different indoor venues throughout the city. Lineup includes Gang Gang Dance, Zola Jesus, John Maus, Panda Bear, Low, Bill Callahan, Gary War, Shabazz Palaces, Zomby, EMA, Com Truise, Puro Instinct, Roll the Dice, Babe Rainbow, Anika and many others. Unfortunately, I can only attend the last two days, but that still leaves me with plenty of good shows to see. I’m just hoping for some magical turn of events that would cause a change in timetable and enable me to see both Gang Gang Dance and John Maus, who are scheduled to play at the same time.
