Palmistry is the moniker of the London-based producer Benjamin Keating, who is hopefully just about to break through. Last month saw the release of his excellent mixtape I Swear, which you can check out here. He is currently working on “LP worth of new material” for his Palmistry project, preparing a collaboration with Haleek Maul and working on the new Triad God record for Hippos in Tanks. A busy man indeed! In between all that he found some time to put together an impressive mix for us. ‘Chung & Dangerous Mix’ features twenty-four mostly obscure, rare and/or hard to find songs, stylistically ranging from electronic and contemporary classical to East African hip-hop and Korean traditional music, all kept together by Palmistry’s trademark gloomy downtempo approach. Lay low rhythms:
