We’ll let him do the talking: “I started making this mix with the idea of just using songs that directly influenced Waving Goodbye. But that’s pretty boring. I’d say it’s about 50/50, half tracks that made a big impression on me while working on the record, and half jams that are burning my mind now. It’s 45 minutes long because I recorded it on a cassette one morning last week before heading out on my dog walking route. When the tape stopped, I had to stop. The closing section is dedicated to everyone who didn’t make it out of the 80s. I wish I could have met you.” Wave goodbye:
