Dan Snaith a.k.a. Caribou has a new album coming out. Swim, the follow-up to one of our 2007 favs Andorra drops April 20th on Merge and City Slang. The opening track ‘Odessa’ is available for free download. [via] The album was recorded in Wales and in the studio of Jeremy Greenspan from Junior Boys. The L.A.-based prog-rockers Crystal Antlers have a new video for the song ‘Tentacles’, off their last year’s debut album. And guess what – it’s psychedelic.
Here’s a new remix of Atlas Sound‘s ‘Shelia’ from their last year’s excellent album Logos. It was mixed by a certain French duo called Cracks whom we never heard of before. But this is pretty good.

Watch the new Led Er Est video for the song ‘Something for Children’, off of their debut album Dust on Common (that we wrote about recently). The video was made by Ava Warbrick and Owen Hutchinson, and was apparently inspired by the story of Sedna, a character from Inuit mythology. Hah!
Just stumbled across this and thought I’d share. On one of her recent live shows Fever Ray performed a cover of Peter Gabriel‘s song ‘Mercy Street’ from his 1986 album So. AND there’s a solid recording of that, available for download below! There’s also a short clip of the performance on YouTube.
